Update. This was truly and apocalyptic year in so many aspects and 2017 doesn’t seem to be any brighter

As disappointing as this is, I’m not entirely surprised. If the social media posts are correct, she wasn’t breathing on her own for up to 15 minutes while the plane was landing, despite them doing CPR; at best, you’re coming out of that a vegetable.

RIP Carrie, Gone Too Soon.

I saw Rogue One last night, and was wondering if Leia would be back for the next Star Wars chapter. Well shit.

Episode VIII wrapped in July of this year, so she should be, though who knows what they’ll do in post.

I know it’s way too soon, but the real question is what this will mean for IX.

Yeah, dark indeed, for many reasons. My wife doesn’t get to follow news like I do because the kids keep her occupied during the day, so she asked me at dinner last night how things are in the world. I replied that everything is fucked for the foreseeable future.

Don’t worry, we’re just on the front edge. Next year will be worse and it’s going to run like this for another 20 years or so. See: Baby Boomers

I try not to follow the news but there just some obvious thing one can feel. It doesn’t feel like a good one next year. Non of the “you have to have a positive attitude” donkey shit. Fuck that, shit is fucky. We as individuals have to make it a positive one no matter how shit changes around us

Baby boomers are starting to drop like flies. It was the largest natural-born generation in US history (and may remain that way forever). Immigration barely bumped the Millennial number above the boomers this year, but the natural born number is far less than the size of the baby boomer generation. If you thought 2016 was bad, 2020 and beyond will probably have multiple stars dying daily. By sometime in the 2030s we probably won’t even care anymore as at least 10k boomers will be dying every single day (the peak rate should be around 15-20k). At least 1 in 1000 of these people will have been famous for something, probably more than 1 in 100.

We went to the Alamo Drafthouse yesterday at 3:30.

They improved the hell out of the AMC Fountains location a few years ago. It used to be trash, but now RECLINING SEATS! I lived right around the corner in some apartments back in 2000 and I wouldn’t go near the theater.

I haven’t been to a movie theater since Jackass 2 came out lol. My brother invited me and we went there since he lives on the opposite end of 59 then me. He mentioned that the place indeed is a lot better. Seemed fine to me. Quiet and comfy

I haven’t been to a movie theater for 10 years and went last night for Rouge One. My wife went and has never seen any Star Wars movie ever. She got so psyched to see 1-7 after last night
